All taxes and gratuities have been covered within the cost of your cruise. You will not need to tip any of the servers or stateroom attendants aboard the Explorer of the Seas.

Departure/arrival times
You can travel to Bermuda with EITHER:
a. a passport OR
b. a state-certified birth certificate with raised seal (original or notarized only) AND a federal or state-issued photo I.D.

Where is Cape Liberty?
Cape Liberty Cruise Port is located on the New York Harbor in Bayonne, New Jersey, just seven miles from New York City and three miles from Newark Liberty International Airport. Driving to the port? A safe, secured parking facility, operated by Central Parking, is conveniently located adjacent to the cruise terminal. Parking fees are $15 per day. Cash, traveler's cheques and major credit cards are accepted. No reservations are necessary.

Ticketing
You will have an electronic ticket (E-Docs) sent to your personal email three to four weeks before the cruise departs.

CSA Travel Protection is available, call (800) 957-4477 to get your personalized quote. Please note that insurance is not included and is an additional expense.

What to wear
For onboard attire shorts, T-shirts, slacks, casual skirts, blouses and sundresses are all perfect for the day, whether indoors or out. Be sure to pack swim suits and flip-flops for the pool and the sandy beaches of Bermuda. If you're looking to play some b-ball or hitting the fitness center bring some athletic shorts and tennis shoes for your workout. For dinner attire and JDate parties, three nights are casual attire (sporty shirts and slacks for men, sundress or pants for women), one night will be smart casual (jackets and ties for men, dresses or pantsuits for women), and one night will be formal (suits and ties or tuxedos for men, cocktail dresses for women). Also, don't forget to pack a light windbreaker in case it gets a little windy on deck.

How to pack
For the first day of the cruise pack a small carry-on bag with your travel documents, a change of clothes, bathing suit and any medications you may need. That way you're prepared till your luggage arrives in your state room. Be sure to pack your digi-cam to save the memories of your journey, binoculars to gaze across the Atlantic and books for lounging by the pool. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen for protection from the sun.

Where do I fly into?
Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey is located just three miles from our port of departure, Cape Liberty. Guests wishing to fly into NYC can arrive at LaGuardia Airport, 21 miles away in Flushing or JFK, 34 miles away in Queens.

Currency
U.S. dollars are accepted onboard the Explorer of the Seas as well as most places in Bermuda.

Individual expenses
Any individual expenses incurred on-site must be settled prior to departure from Royal Caribbean International's Explorer of the Seas. Spark Networks (JDate) is not responsible for individual charges not paid upon departure and/or disputed by individual clients.
